Is this training the same as USSF?
No, we do cover as simplified version of the IFAB laws of the game. The IREF certification is only used for the recreation league that you are signed with.

IREF will offer clinics during the off season in summer and winter.

How many clinics are offered each year?
IREF will offer clinics during the off season in summer and winter. Registration for ongoing clinics will be open on the Home page when they are available.
How many clinics do I have to attend to be certified?
The IREF certification is yearly. Attending one clinic per calendar year is required for certification.
How old do I have to be attend to get certified?
The minimum age to certify is 12 years old.
How much does the clinic cost the referee?
At this time there is no cost to individual referees; UYSA or other clubs signing referees cover the IREF training costs for their respective refs. Clubs/Admins will choose a payment plan (annual, semiannual, or individual ref) during the registration process.
